The Cryo X1 comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty. Our own technicians service what they install, and the X1 includes remote diagnostics.
Warranty terms
| Model | Parts | Labour | Remote diagnostics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cryo X1 | 2 years | 2 years | Included |
The warranty starts on the commissioning date and applies to the original commercial owner at the installed location. Your written warranty document sets out the full terms.
What is covered
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use
- Refrigeration components: compressors, heat exchangers, valves, fans and controls
- Electrical components, the touchscreen controller and sensors
- Safety systems: door releases, emergency stops, oxygen and CO₂ monitors, intercoms and cameras supplied by us
- Technician labour and travel for warranty repairs in the contiguous US
What is not covered
- Damage from misuse, accidents, moving the unit without us, or unapproved modifications
- Repairs by anyone other than us or an approved technician
- Faults caused by an electrical supply outside spec, power surges or inadequate room HVAC
- Missed required maintenance
- Consumables such as filters, seals worn by normal use, and cleaning supplies
- Liquid nitrogen, dewars and the nitrogen supply itself
- Cosmetic wear
Remote diagnostics
The X1 can share alarm and performance data with our service team, with your permission. That lets us:
- See temperature, pressure and alarm history before a technician travels
- Talk your staff through fixes that do not need a visit
- Spot drift in performance before it turns into downtime
- Bring the right parts on the first visit
It needs a stable internet connection at the chamber. We explain what data is shared during installation.
Preventive maintenance schedule
Most downtime is avoidable. Your staff handle the daily and weekly checks we train them on; our technicians do the scheduled visits.
| Interval | Who | What |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | Your staff | Start-up checks, safety test, cabin cleaning, session log review |
| Weekly | Your staff | Door seals, drain and defrost check, filter inspection, alarm test |
| Monthly | Your staff | Deep clean, oxygen monitor check, condenser area clear of dust |
| Every 6 months | Our technician (high-volume sites) | Refrigeration check, calibration, safety system test |
| Every 12 months | Our technician (all sites) | Full service, refrigeration pressures, sensor calibration, controller update |
Nitrogen cryosaunas add checks on hoses, valves and dewar connections. Follow the schedule in your operating procedures to keep the warranty valid. Maintenance costs are included in our operating cost guide.
Response times
These are our service targets during business hours. They are goals we plan and staff for, not guarantees, and remote locations can take longer.
| Issue | Target response |
|---|---|
| Phone or remote diagnostics session | Within 4 business hours |
| Chamber down, on-site visit needed | Within 2–5 business days |
| Routine questions by email | Within 1 business day |
Extended service plans
When the standard warranty ends, you can keep the same cover with an extended plan. Plans can include:
- Parts and labour cover for 1–3 more years
- Scheduled preventive maintenance visits
- Priority response
- Discounted parts outside plan cover
Add a plan at purchase or any time before your warranty ends. Price depends on model and usage; ask us for a quote.
Parts
We keep common wear and service parts for our current models in stock and ship them quickly. Staff-replaceable items, such as filters and seals, can be ordered directly. For older or third-party equipment, including units bought through our pre-owned program, parts availability is checked before we quote.
