Every Superhuman Cryo chamber is installed by our own technicians, not a subcontractor. Delivery, installation, commissioning and staff training are included in the price of the Cryo X1 in the contiguous US. Most sites go from order to first guest in 6–8 weeks.
1. Fit check
Before you order, we confirm the chamber fits your building. Send us:
- A floor plan or photos of the room, with dimensions and ceiling height
- The route from the delivery point to the room: doors, corridors, lifts, stairs
- A photo of your electrical panel and its rating
- Details of the room’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning
We come back with a yes, a yes with changes, or a different model that suits the space better. This is free and takes a few days. The general rules are on our room and power requirements page.
2. Site spec: electrical and HVAC
After you order, we send a site spec pack for your contractors.
Electrical
- X1: dedicated 208–240 V or 400 V three-phase circuit
HVAC and ventilation
- Electric chambers reject heat into the room. We give you the heat load so your HVAC contractor can size cooling or extraction.
- Nitrogen cryosaunas need ventilation, a wall-mounted oxygen monitor and a safe storage area for the dewar.
Floor and finish
- A level, solid floor. Walk-in chambers need the floor load confirmed.
- Walls and flooring that tolerate occasional condensation near the door.
Your contractor completes this work before install day. We are available to answer their questions by phone or video.
3. Delivery and rigging
We schedule delivery once your site is ready. The X1 arrives crated and moves through standard commercial doorways. For any site with stairs or tight access, we plan rigging with you during a site survey.
4. Installation and commissioning
Our technicians position and assemble the unit, connect it to your supply and bring it down to temperature. Commissioning includes:
- Full cold-run test at operating temperature
- Checks of every safety system: inside door release, emergency stops, oxygen (and CO₂) monitoring, intercom and cameras
- Controller setup: session presets, guest profiles and logging
- Remote diagnostics connection on connected models
- A signed commissioning report for your records
5. Staff training
Training happens on site, straight after commissioning, on your own chamber.
The Cryo X1 includes one full day of on-site training. It covers daily start-up and shutdown, guest screening, session protocols, cleaning, basic troubleshooting and emergency procedures. You also get written operating procedures. Train new staff later with a remote refresher.
6. Go-live
Most operators run a few staff and friends-and-family sessions before opening bookings. We stay in touch through your first weeks. Remote diagnostics lets our team see alarms and performance data on connected models. After that, your service and warranty cover takes over.

Lead times are typical, not guaranteed, and depend on stock and your site being ready. The most common cause of delay is the electrical supply, so book your electrician early.
